Dr. T.M. Robinson-Mosley is a skillful mental health counselor with an extensive background in identifying and managing mental health and wellness concerns in diverse populations and was awarded the Emerging Leader Fellowship by a division of the American Counseling Association.
Dr. Mosley has experience working in university counseling centers, community mental health agencies, hospitals, and student-athlete development centers, expertise in athlete development and mental health and transition management, and applies a wide range of therapeutic techniques including: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, interpersonal, positive psychology, solution-focused therapy, strength-based techniques, trauma-informed care and practice, crisis management, emergency response and extensive experience in creating treatment plans, mental health outreach programming and workshops.
Dr. Mosley’s expertise spans several disciplines and provides confidential, non-judgmental perspective in a supportive environment. Mosley clinically assesses and counsels adults, adolescents, and couples from a variety of backgrounds and mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, severe trauma, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ issues, anger management, and identity development.
Dr. Mosley is also a subject matter expert in the area of women/girls of color and mental health, is culturally-competent and utilizes therapeutic techniques using a multicultural framework.
