In 2019, LaTonya created and founded The Sports Power Brunch: Celebrating the Most Powerful Women in Sports, an annual event held during Super Bowl week that encourages and empowers women to thrive and excel in the sports industry and beyond. Growing in influence, the Sports Power Brunch has become a must-attend gathering, garnering national attention with coverage by Associated Press, The Hollywood Reporter, The Atlantan, and ABC News, among other key media outlets.
She attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and is a member of WISE Atlanta, Black Sports Professionals, and Diverse Representation.
In 2021, LaTonya joined the American Cancer Society’s Women in Sports Council.
