Dr. Lee Dorpfeld is the Behavioral Health and Sport Performance Specialist for the Athletic Department at The University of South Florida. He has over 20 years of clinical and sport/performance psychology experience.

Dr. Dorpfeld’s work includes having served as a Clinician, Addiction Professional, Assistant Clinical Director, Clinical Director and Sport Psychology Consultant in the private sector, university counseling centers and athletic departments. In addition, he maintained a private practice for over 20 years.

In his current role, he is responsible for managing and providing specialized counseling and sport/performance psychology services, consultation with administrators, coaches and other areas of student-athlete support as well as coordination with campus partners as related to the welfare of Student-Athletes.

He is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and a member of The Collegiate Clinical/Counseling Sport Psychology Association.
